Razzle-Dazzle

I found it!!! The perfect LBD…for quite some time now I’ve had a vision of a long -sleeved, sequin mini dress and while reading In Style this month I finally found it! My favorite one is from French Connection (shown left), but there are soooo many out there- take your pick!

It’s the perfect upgrade from my normal LBD- it totally kicks it up a notch! (or five) Worn with black tights and booties it’s the vision I’ve been imagining for weeks. Don’t be afraid- embrace your inner Liza Minnelli and go out and get one!

Keep Your Winter Blues

If I could wear tights every day of my life I would- and I usually do. Which is why I’m excited about this winter look. This look is perfect for all recessionistas! It’s a great way of taking something old or ‘last season’ and freshening it up to transition it into a ‘wintery’ look.

Keep your ‘winter blues’ buy pairing your favorite denim shorts with a pair of black tights this winter. Great way to recycle your denim and make a fabulous new outfit with pieces you already have!

I’m Going Green!

I know it’s fall so we should all be transitioning into darker shades of polish… but I seriously think we should all just go green! I’ve seen this polish in a few magazines, and it was the one ‘pop’ of color showcased aside the traditional black and white look at the Chanel Fall 2009 runway. The Chanel Jade Collection is fabulous because it’s a change from the usual “vampy” fall colors and it just looks edgier–a bit pricey for nail polish (around $25) but sooo worth it!
