I was daring enough to wear these bright hues in Puerto Rico last week and loved the look! (most of you know I always do black) What a delight to see the same bold colors featured in an NM post today.

A Major Stud
After browsing the latest People: Style Watch website I realized I needed a pair of studded heels. I found this fab pair at endless.com with free 2-day shipping and and extra discount (not sure why) but it worked for me! Of course I’ll wear them with classic pieces to tone down the “rocker/goth” look. I think they’re going to look A-mazing paired with something feminine like a black silky blouse with a bow. We all know I love anything with a bow… and black…. Happy Shopping!
Mad for Banana
Has anyone seen the Mad Men Collection at Banana Republic? It’s to die for! I need everything. *sigh….
Tighty Whitey’s
Recent Purchase: Sold Spring Street Pull-On Skinny Jeans
I first saw these pants on my recent issue of Us Weekly (pg. 67). After a little research I made a bold choice and went with the white. I thought it would be more appropriate for the excruciatingly hot Florida summer that lies ahead… that and I’m trying to incorporate brighter colors into my wardrobe.
Apparently this label is known for their super stretchy denim that’s supposed to “smooth and hug the contour of your body” (says the marketing team at Neiman Marcus) Works for me!! Cant wait.

Gym Motivation
After having a baby and being cooped up in my apartment for a month I’ve decided to join the gym again. I ventured out today and felt like something was off… one look in the mirror and I realized what it was- my outfit! So, I decided to make a quick trip to Dicks Sporting Goods for some gym attire. With a fresh pair of kicks and a sweet new outfit I’m already looking forward to my Body Works Plus Abs class tomorrow. Yup! I’m bribing myself with work out clothes, but hey- whatever gets me there, right?
and of course everything is black…
Dashing Denim
So… brightening your Spring wardrobe now includes your denim as well. J Brand Jeans has an A-mazing line of “Haute Hues’ for their Spring collection of denim including: bright royal (cobalt), bright red, bright fuchsia as well as some pastel shades like pale pink and blue. The brighter shades have become one of the latest celeb trends and I must say I’m a fan! Would you rock colored denim?

Have A Bright and Happy Easter!
Unfortunately I’m too old to have mom buy me my Easter dresses anymore, but what’s Easter without a few new accessories to go with that new dress? Whether it’s church or a family dinner a nice dress and a bright bag is a must. My pick for today is the Furla “Candy” Satchel. It’s fun, bright and a great alternative to your Easter basket! 🙂
Happy Easter to all!

Juicy Love & Swimsuits
The time has come… bathing suit season! (some are rejoicing while others are squirming) At this point in my life I’m not especially looking forward to it, being 37 weeks pregnant. I do realize there are other women out there excited about the beach, the sun, a new bikini and sipping on a pina colada.
Here are a few fabulous bathing suits I would go for- if I was to put one on any time soon. 😉
Juicy Couture: Maisey Print bikini- love the print on this suit and the string bottoms are very ‘forgiving’ and don’t squeeze in all the wrong places. LOVE. Perfect for the bikini lover!
Juicy Couture: Miss Softee Ruffle Swimdress- Ah, yes… this will be a bit more up my alley for the summer. Vintage looking, chic and full coverage but still sexy. Picture huge straw hat, big shades and a sangria…*bliss. (I’d prefer it in black)
Happy Shopping! (remember it’s the fluorescent lighting in the dressing room, it’s not you!)
Lighten Up
Spring is here… which is quite tricky for me since all I wear and own is pretty much black. I’m trying my hardest to ‘lighten up’ so I’ve chosen a lot more blues to incorporate into my wardrobe. Along with a lighter, more colorful wardrobe I’m convinced I need a new bag to go with the look. It’s time to put the black Brahmin bag away and go for a lighter neutral bag. My first choice is a nude or tan shade! It’s a change from the black and will easily transition through the seasons and into fall and winter. Below are a few of my options- thoughts??
